Adecco is currently seeking a full-time Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator to join our client, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of aircraft landing gear, wheels, and brakes. As an HSE Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation, promotion, and evaluation of occupational health, safety, and environmental policies. · Pay rate: $25 - $27 / Hour

· Location: Ajax, ON | In-office on a daily basis

· Shifts: Monday to Friday | 7:30 AM-4:00 PM | Flexible

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Update and maintain the HSE programs and policies and assist in achieving the ISO 45001 ISO 14001 Certification process.

· Conduct the Risk assessment based on company risk methodology and participate in the incident investigation process.

· Review past and current injuries to improve the overall safety record at the site.

· Document HS incidents/infractions and observations and recommend corrective actions

· Maintain monthly Measurement of Performance or Key Performance Indicator data sheets.

· Update general planned inspections through physical assessment of the work area

· Maintain a WHMIS program including a current SDS and employee training

· Complete contractor training update as required

· Provides recommendations and implements strategies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

· College Diploma or University Degree in Industrial Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related field.

· 1 - 2 years of work experience in HSE, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

· Knowledge of both Federal and Provincial HSE regulations.

· Experience in the Manufacturing Industry.

· Health and Safety experience from other industries is acceptable.

· Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines.

· Knowledge of the Occupation Safety Act is an asset.

· Knowledge of processes and procedures for reporting to the Ministry of Health.

· A willingness to learn and grow.

· Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
