Seafield Vets in Banff, Aberdeenshire is looking for an experienced small animal vet surgeon to join their team. The successful candidate will primarily be based at the Banff practice as a sole charge vet working alongside an experienced RVN, VCA and 3 receptionists. There will also be opportunities to visit and work in our other branches at Keith and Buckie should you desire.
The role will provide an interesting caseload and include all aspects of small animal practice including routine small animal consults and all basic surgery. This is your chance to make a difference to mould and steer the practice forward whilst supporting us with the delivery of an exceptional level of service and client care.
We are the only vet in the town, so there are interesting caseloads and a real community value in the practice. There is the routine neutering and dental, but also lumps and bumps, foreign bodies, being the only vets, you never know what you are going to see, we can fully support and fund additional certifications as well a work life balance.

A typical full-time role would require you to cover 40 hours a week across 4 days, no out of hours and a share of Saturday mornings.We can consider part time hours and flexible working hours for this role.
About usSeafield Vet Group has 3 branches (Keith, Banff and Buckie) each with good facilities including a full Idexx lab suite and a new and updated ultrasound allow you to work up cases to a high level internally.
We deal with large animal work (at the Keith site predominantly beef and sheep with the occasional goat!) and small animal caseloads within the Banff site, we a have a strong small animal client base with minimal exotics.
