The public hospital includes an emergency department, critical care unit, maternity unit, neonatology unit, paediatric unit, mental health unit, and various clinical support services. The private hospital provides specialist medical and surgical care for both inpatients and day surgery patients. The Role: We are seeking to establish a pool of suitably qualified Consultant Psychiatrists to provide specialist mental health care within the Health Service campus. You will provide clinical leadership, coordination and direction for the multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering evidence based best practice treatment and evaluate the provision of consumer centred care within a recovery-based framework. 56-bed Mental Health unit provides a multidisciplinary service to people who need mental health care. The three wards on our unit include:
25-bed adult mental health ward
16-bed older adult mental health ward
15-bed secure ward
Requirements: You must hold the FRANZCP.
