Post:  Specialist Physiotherapist – Cardiac Rehabilitation

Band: 6 – Permanent Part time hours

Hours:          5.25 hrs per week    0.14 wte

Location:  Moray Physiotherapy Services

Due to re-design of cardiac rehabilitation services then a vacancy has arisen for a Physiotherapist to join the Moray NHS Physiotherapy team. This post has been re-designed to be static in cardiac rehabilitation across Moray.

Rehabilitation is a key function of Physiotherapy and this post will be based in Elgin or in the community of Moray depending on the demand in order to meet patient’s needs.

The Physiotherapy team is fully engaged with progressing staff development through in-service training.

Moray is a small area, with friendly staff where you can experience a wide range of conditions and treatments, with support to develop. The local area has a range of outdoor activities including hillwalking/climbing, skiing and watersports, as well as all the usual sports. Housing is affordable and Moray scores highly on the quality of life indices.

This is a part-time role in the team, working with the Cardiac Nurse and Cardiac service in Moray. It may be ideal for someone already working part time in the NHS looking for an additional role.
