The Facility The Health Service serves as the main healthcare provider for residents of the regions, which collectively have a population exceeding 250,000 people. Additionally, this facility acts as the principal referral hospital for Far North Queensland and deliver a wide range of health services at over 30 regional, rural, and remote facilities across a vast geographical area spanning 142,900 square kilometers. The Health Service operates at 95 percent self-sufficiency, with only a few high-level acute services requiring referral to Brisbane.

Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
SIMG's assessed with a Substantially Comparable outcome are welcome to apply
Must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists or equivalent.
