About Us:
Hospital Mental Health and Alcohol & Other Drugs Service is dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health and addiction treatment. Our facilities include a 24-bed acute mental health inpatient facility and a 6-bed Step-Up Step-Down Unit. We offer a range of Community Mental Health Services, including Acute Care, Consultation Liaison Psychiatry, Continuing Care, and Mobile Intensive Rehabilitation. Our rural communities are supported by outreach teams in Moranbah and Whitsunday.

Youth Mental Health Services:
Our services extend to youth mental health, with an Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service complementing our Community Child and Youth Mental Health Service. We provide integrated care for adolescents, with limited outreach services to Bowen, Moranbah, and Sarina. The Child and Adolescent Unit (CAU) at MBH offers two designated mental health beds for crisis intervention cases.

Salary Information (L18 – L24, L25 – L27):

• Total remuneration up to $470,780 (L24): Salary range $204,206 - $237,196 (L18-L24).
• Total remuneration up to $514,452 (L27): Salary range $244,201 - $258,910 (L25-L27).
