The role is a rostered shift work role, providing imaging services to the outpatients, inpatients and emergency department patients. Those seeking permanent weekend, afternoon and night shifts may also apply.

A Day in the Life

We guarantee that no two days will be the same. In this important role, you will:

  • Be a member of the Imaging team at Monash Health at Clayton including the VHH.
  • Perform high quality imaging at all times in those modalities you are trained in. Further training will be provided where required.
  • Demonstrate superior technical skills in acquisitions and image post processing
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and supervisory skills
  • Demonstrate a high degree of motivation, commitment and teamwork

What You Bring

Working closely with radiologists, cardiologists, nurses, MITs and cardiac technicians you will bring the following demonstrated skills, experience and knowledge: 

  • Demonstrate superior technical skills in acquisitions and image post processing
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and supervisory skills
  • Demonstrate a high degree of motivation, commitment, and teamwork

What you need:

  • Minimum 1 year post qualification experience as an MIT
  • Competency in at least two modalities
  • Current AHPRA registration as a medical radiation practitioner
