The role  
As a Senior Service Agreement Officer within the Department of Health, you will be responsible for supporting the Service Agreement Teams in managing the development and maintenance of service agreements and associated projects, initiatives and documentation. Your duties include assisting in the coordination, preparation and validation of complex, high-level and timely reports and correspondence on Hospital and Health Services' (HHSs) progress and performance against service agreement key performance indicators (KPIs). You will facilitate performance management meetings, assist in service agreement amendment processes and maintain collaborative relationships with HHS and Department of Health managers. Your role also involves preparing project updates, briefs and reports and fostering effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. 

The successful person
To excel in this position, you must demonstrate proficiency in analysing, interpreting, and presenting complex data, identifying emerging patterns, and reconciling disparate data from various sources. Effective communication skills are essential, encompassing the ability to prepare detailed reports, briefs, and communications on intricate and contentious subjects for diverse stakeholders, often under tight deadlines. Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, negotiating outcomes, and representing the Department of Health's interests are also crucial aspects of the role. 

Proficiency in software for data analysis, project management, and collaboration, such as MS-Excel and MS-Visio, is highly desirable, or the capacity to quickly adapt to new software as needed. While not mandatory, possessing a relevant qualification is advantageous. Additionally, compliance with vaccination requirements for measles, mumps, rubella (MMR), varicella (chicken pox), pertussis (whooping cough), hepatitis B, and tuberculosis is a condition of employment for this role, as per Health Employment Directive No. 01/16.
