The role  
You will serve as the primary liaison for the Queensland Voluntary Assisted Dying Review Board Information Management System (IMS), collaborating closely with eHealth Queensland, software developers, and external agencies to ensure seamless operation. Your responsibilities encompass overseeing user access, identifying and escalating system performance issues, and coordinating maintenance activities. Additionally, you will work alongside authorised practitioners to troubleshoot access barriers, devising innovative strategies to enhance IMS usability. You will lead the process for reviewing and improving the approved forms which practitioners must submit to the IMS. 

You will also be responsible for leading the development of meaningful reports and datasets for the Voluntary Assisted Dying Review Board and other stakeholders. Insights from these reports will be used to inform the continuous improvement of voluntary assisted dying in Queensland.  
  

The successful person
To excel in this position, you should demonstrate leadership capabilities in managing a team responsible for legal policy and significant and complex projects, including ICT projects. Your skill set should encompass negotiation, consultation, facilitation, leadership, and conflict resolution, along with the ability to cultivate effective relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, enabling effective liaison and consultation with a wide variety of stakeholders including clinicians, board members, and senior leaders.

While not mandatory, possessing a relevant qualification would be advantageous. Additionally, employment in this role requires vaccination against specified diseases as per Health Employment Directive No. 01/16, and this condition must be met and maintained throughout employment.
