The Strategy and Planning Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Principal Planning Officer to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity

This position will contribute to the development of strategy and health service planning for MHHS through research, analysis, engagement and interpretation of data and information.

About the Team

The Strategy, Governance and Engagement portfolio comprises of various functions, including strategy, integrated planning, organisational service agreement strategy and management, organisational performance and reporting, board governance, risk and compliance, internal audit, legal, consumer and community engagement, media and communications and emergency and disaster management for the Mackay Hospital and Health Service

The Strategy, Governance and Engagement portfolio provides high-level advice and support to the MHH Board and Executive Leadership Team of the Mackay HHS on strategic, tactical and operational activities.
