As a consultant physician, you'll practice within your scope of expertise, and work closely with the Clinical Director of Medicine for operational matters and report to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for professional oversight.

The Facility A vibrant team serves a population of approximately 300,000 in Central Victoria, covering a vast geographical area. The facility was established in 2017, and is a 724-bed hospital that boasts state-of-the-art facilities.
The General Medicine Team plays a vital role and operates within the Clinical Operations Division.
The Department of Medicine encompasses Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Respiratory Medicine, and General Medicine.
Dedicated directorates for Geriatrics and Rehabilitation, Oncology, Cardiology, and Renal Medicine.
Approximately 90 inpatients at any given time, the General Medical Unit offers both elective and emergency care services. It serves as a link to metropolitan hospitals when necessary.
The Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Physicians or equivalent, and demonstrated subspecialty training in Gastroenterology.
Current registration as a Specialist in Gastroenterology with the Medical Board of Australia or equivalent in countries with substantially comparable training as assessed by RACP have a RACP interview date
Extensive relevant clinical experience in Gastroenterology
Knowledge of legislation relevant to Gastroenterology.
Demonstrated ability to apply Gastroenterology research to clinical practice.
