NHS Grampian - More jobs by this advertiser

NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

Rosewell House is a modern 60 bedded integrated intermediate care facility based in the West End of Aberdeen city.  This facility has 40 intermediate care beds, caring for patients with a variety of medical, frailty and rehabilitation needs, as well as 20 rehab beds which are currently closed at the moment. We admit patients predominantly from Ward 102 in ARI as well as via Hospital at Home in the community.  In Rosewell House NHS staff provide care in conjunction with Bon Accord Care staff, and this is the first time this type of model has been adopted in Scotland.

Therefore we are looking to employ a band 5 registered nurse to join our large and already established multidisciplinary team.  You will work 12 hour shifts on day and night rotation, including weekend and public holiday hours.  You must be a caring nurse who can prioritise your workload and be adaptable to change.   An interest in care of the elderly and enablement is essential.  There are plenty of development opportunities within the department and support will be given for you to undertake these.

All applicants should have a valid UK NMC membership/registration.

Informal visits are encouraged and enquiries can be made to Senior Charge Nurse Surya Suresh or by email to [email protected]  or Laura Davidson, Frailty Nurse Manager, by email to [email protected]
