This is a unique opportunity to join the Community Adult Assessment and Rehabilitation Service (CAARS) as a Band 7 Team Leader based at the City Hospital Site, in Aberdeen.

This is a full time post, however, anyone wishing to be considered on less hours should contact Aideen Mitchell to discuss options. 

Applicants need to be qualified as an Occupational Therapist and registered with HCPC. The post holder will provide clinical and professional leadership to a small well established locality team and carry a clinical caseload. The primary function of the team is to assess and treat people in their own homes, clinics and community settings to maximise their function and independence. Applicants will have considerable experience at Band 6 level or as a community Social Work OT and be able to demonstrate transferrable knowledge and skills to work effectively within an adult community rehabilitation service.

The post holder will be expected to have the ability to work independently and as part of a wider health and social care team. Supervision is provided and opportunities for continued professional development are encouraged.

A UK driving licence and daily access to a vehicle (which will meet the new LEZ) is essential for this post. Post holder may be required to work over weekends and Public holidays as part of a rota.

An attractive relocation allowance of up to £8000 may be available to successful canddiate.
