NHS GRAMPIAN

ROTATIONAL PHYSIOTHERAPIST - Band 6

An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic physiotherapist to join our General Band 6 rotation loop. The successful applicant will gain experience working in a number of locations across Grampian in Care of the older patient including Intermediate Care/ Discharge Hub / Hospital @ Home, Acute Respiratory, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation Unit, Community Rehabilitation and Domiciliary. 

These post rotate on a 6 month basis and are ideal for a junior physio looking for their first specialist role or for a physio who has not yet decided which speciality they wish to work in. The post holder will also be involved in the supervision of junior staff, healthcare support workers and students on clinical placement within the service.

We currently offer good CPD opportunities where we place a high value on both professional and personal development.

These posts will contribute to our weekend and out of hours rotas.

This is a full time permanent post. From 1 April 2024, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change workers in Scotland will be reduced.  Full-time hours will reduce from 37.5 to 37 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.

The closing date is 1 May 2024 with interviews for this post planned for 13 May 2024
