The Hospital The facility is a 236-bed regional hospital that services 10 rural hospitals and multi-purpose health service, servicing a population of over 180,000. Undergoing a dynamic phase of expansion, with a $250 million redevelopment plan underway, this initiative will add 112 inpatient beds and enhance outpatient and support services. Additionally, significant upgrades are in progress at rural hospitals in the region. Clinicians will experience a stimulating and fulfilling clinical caseload which includes active inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine, paediatrics, surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics & gynaecology, and mental health. These core services are closely integrated with robust emergency medicine, anaesthetic, and intensive care departments, complemented by a wide array of allied health services.
The Requirements
Mandatory possession of an approved medicine degree from a registered tertiary institution
General and Specialist registration with the AHPRA
Fellowship or eligibility for Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine of Australia and New Zealand (CICM)
