About the role

  • Perform reception duties ensuring a customer focus approach to both internal and external clients in a busy and challenging environment.
  • Handle patient appointment bookings through HBCIS appointment scheduling. 
  • Complete admissions and discharges in HBCIS.
  • Respond to electronic, telephone and written requests for Medical Records, retrieve records and assign medical record to the appropriate location in HBCIS.  
  • File any loose documentation within medical record in appropriate sections before filing charts to main file location within medical records department.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and records.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent communication and oral skills.
  • Strong work ethic with an ability to work autonomously.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
  • Ability to provide quality administrative support.

About the location
