As the Principal Security Consultant you will undertake a lead role and assist in ensuring that Queensland Health's S/4HANA Finance, Business and Logistics solution including GRC access control is properly designed, configured, developed, documented, implemented, maintained and reviewed from an application security perspective, in order to provide ongoing best practice and quality service to clients. This position reports to the Manager Information Security.

About Corporate Enterprise Solutions:

This exciting job opportunity falls under the Corporate Enterprise Solutions branch within the Department of Health and provides solutions and services that support Queensland Health's enterprise corporate applications while also supporting the payroll transactional processes. This application suite includes the largest integrated rostering and payroll solution in the public sector and the finance, business and logistics solution and management environment. 

What we are looking for:

  • Demonstrated extensive experience in developing, implementing and maintaining S/4HANA application security authorisations and the design, build and management of S/4HANA security solutions in relation to the solution responsibility of this team, and the ability to apply this knowledge in a complex IT environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical, conceptual and innovative problem-solving skills with a strong focus on meeting outcomes and delivering a quality client service.
  • Proven ability to effectively apply specialist technical knowledge and provide expert advice on S/4HANA security in responding to maintenance and support requests according to agreed procedures.
  • Proven ability to assist management in supervising and assisting other team members to deliver effective service to clients and key stakeholders through the implementation of team goals, strategies and work plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with stakeholders to recommend and implement security solutions whilst complying with legislative, policy and regulatory frameworks.
  • Extensive written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to build effective client and stakeholder relationships by negotiating client needs and ensuring proposed solutions are properly understood and resolved.
