The Facility 
This hospital serves a growing population of over 46,000 in Southeast Victoria, responding to increased growth by expanding its services. It includes a well-established facility with 51 acute beds, 20 sub-acute/rehabilitation beds, HDU, modern theatre suite, emergency department, 5-bed short stay unit, and palliative care and maternity services. Day services feature a 9-bed Day Procedure Unit, a new 10-chair Oncology/Medical Ambulatory Day Unit, and a 9-chair Dialysis Unit. Additionally, the hospital offers a 90-bed Aged Care facility, a range of Allied Health Services, Medical Outpatient Services, Home Based Services including Hospital in the Home, Community Health, and a CBD campus providing easy access to Maternity Care and Medical Imaging Services.

The Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent to enable registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Current General Registration with AHPRA or eligibility for provisional registration (supervised practice and postgraduate training)
• Undertaking Advanced Training with the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (highly regarded)
