In this position, you will be accountable for achieving excellence in food service delivery and drive performance through participating in the development and implementation of annual operational plans.  As the Coordinator Food Services you will enable your team through effective communication, clear direction and the allocation of well maintained functional equipment and other appropriate resources. You will adhere to budgets and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to meet service delivery targets.  

You will provide advice and recommendations on service improvements and innovative approaches to support positive clinical outcomes through high customer satisfaction and a quality food and beverage service.  As the Coordinator you will recruit and enhance the performance of people and be a motivating role model.

Operational Support Services includes the Integrated Operational Services and Food Service for the Nambour General Hospital. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the compliance with the NGH Food Safety Program, standards and legislation, and ensure compliance for annual audit.
  • Conduct regular inspections, assessments and audits of areas to monitor that standards and procedures are met.
  • Achieve business outcomes through innovative approaches to maximise customer satisfaction, quality and financial integrity of all operations.

Remuneration value up to $89,086 p.a., comprising salary between $71,391 - $78,080 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $36.00 - $39.37 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (004) (full time, 76 hrs p.f. and part time position available, 38 hrs p.f.).
