About the role

  • The purpose of this role is to deliver the Metro North Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Kidney Co-Design Project, funded by an RBWH Foundation Grant for the purpose of co-designing the future direction and priorities of AYA kidney care.
  • The position will undertake activities and tasks as outlined within the project documentation, in collaboration with partners, internal and external stakeholders, communities and consumers, to ensure the successful delivery of project activities.
  • The co-design project includes (but is not limited to) the planning, co-facilitation and delivery of co-design workshops; the collection of patient, carer and staff stories; the dissemination of findings via abstracts, peer review publications and reports; and supporting quality improvement activities identified as part of the co-design process.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to apply high-level clinical knowledge, project management and codesign skills to develop, implement and evaluate initiatives that improve the health outcomes of AYA with kidney disease and to provide advice to Metro North Health (MNH) and other stakeholders.
  • High level understanding of project management, co-design and evaluation methodology including the ability to prepare documents of significant scope to support clinical practice initiatives.
  • High-level interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation and change management skills.
  • Ability to lead change through co-designed service improvement activities within the multidisciplinary context.
  • Ability to disseminate project and clinical findings and outcomes via reports, abstracts and research manuscripts.
