Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Professional - LMFT - LMHCLocation: Honolulu, HI, USEmployment Type: PermanentWork Schedule: Onsite | Remote (2 days in office, 3 days from home)Salary: USD $98,322 $98,322 / yrJob Description:$10,000 Sign-On Bonus Eligible Position!Work from home hybrid work scheduleJob Summary:The Licensed Mental Health Professional will provide diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy for ambulatory mental health services. This role encompasses case management, evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic intervention for individuals, families, groups, and Intensive Outpatient Programs.Essential Responsibilities:Conduct psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, families, groups, and Intensive Outpatient Programs, offering services such as crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, supportive therapy, stress management, couples counseling, addictions counseling, and family therapy.Demonstrate clinical competency in various evidence-based treatment modalities for individual, family, couples, and group therapy.Perform diagnostic evaluations using the latest Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), determining appropriate levels of care according to clinical needs.Assess urgency of member needs, provide therapeutic actions including crisis intervention, coordination of care, and coordinating psychiatric admissions when necessary.Provide information and resources to members with mental health and dual diagnosis disorders, including knowledge of KP and community resources.Participate in KP sponsored studies/research, collecting and recording data relating to identification and treatment of behavioral and interpersonal problems of members.Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary clinical team members to support assessments, treatment planning, and decision-making.Maintain high level of clinical expertise, staying updated on current clinical conditions, methods, medications, theoretical frameworks, and interventions.Maintain written records of therapy, prepare reports, and participate in clinical team meetings, departmental planning, and quality management activities.Ensure compliance with organizational, departmental, state/federal guidelines, and all regulatory agency policies and procedures.Qualifications:Basic Qualifications:Minimum of three (3) years of post-degree clinical experience.Master's Degree in Marriage and Family therapy or allied field related to mental health counseling from an accredited college or university.Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Hawaii) OR Mental Health Counselor License (Hawaii).Basic Life Support certification required at hire from American Heart Association.National Provider Identifier required at hire.Additional Requirements:Experience in conducting assessments and diagnostic evaluations using the latest DSM.Demonstrated knowledge and skill in adaptability, change management, conflict resolution, decision making, group process facilitation, influence, interpersonal relations, oral communication, problem solving, quality management, teamwork, and written communication.Experience in providing evidence-based treatment, writing treatment plans, and taxonomy code required at the time of hire.Successful completion of credentialing process upon hire.Preferred Qualifications:Demonstrated knowledge and skill in documentation according to national accreditation guidelines.Experience in providing behavioral health services in a primary care setting.Experience in providing services to patients with addictions issues.Experience in risk assessment and crisis interventions.Experience in mental health diagnosing and providing clinical intervention therapy services.Non-Negotiable Requirements:Minimum of three (3) years of post-degree clinical experience.Master's Degree in Marriage and Family therapy or allied field related to mental health counseling from an accredited college or university.Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (Hawaii) OR Mental Health Counselor License (Hawaii).Basic Life Support certification required at hire from American Heart Association.
