As a Work Health and Safety Advisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. In close collaboration with the People & Culture team, you will be leading safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives in our fulfilment centre located in Wetherill Park (NSW 2164).

Responsibilities:

  • Influence and advise stakeholders at all levels to foster a safety-focused culture within the organisation.
  • Promote seamless integration of Work Health and Safety (WHS) processes into business operations and drive continuous improvement in WHS performance.
  • Facilitate risk management activities and enhance hazard identification across the organisation.
  • Assist in the management of workers' compensation and injury management, including the development of recovery and return-to-work plans.
  • Oversee safety reporting, audits, and contractor compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations and implement corrective actions promptly when necessary.

Requirements

  • Diploma (or above) in WHS.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in WHS advisory roles, preferably within a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment.
  • Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations.
  • Confidence with G-suite products (sheets, docs, slides, etc.)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive change.
  • Analytical mindset and capability to utilise metrics and data to improve safety management strategies and practices.

Salary Range: $70,000-75,000 per annum plus superannuation
