About the role

Full time Temporary opportunity to be involved in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery & Burns Units at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and rotate between these units to acquire the requisite skills and experience while still maintaining optimal continuity of care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • Under supervision, attend to the overall management of patients and operating theatre lists for Plastic Surgery & Burns.
  • Maintain the process of clinical audit.
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient services in Plastic Surgery & Burns.
  • Treat inpatients and organise operating lists for maximal efficiency.
  • Cover the unit from time to time in the Outpatient Department and Operating Room in the absence of the other unit registrars.
