About the role
The position will deliver quality Paediatric Physiotherapy services, appropriate with level of experience, across various caseloads as a member of a multidisciplinary team within the Child Development Service to children, youth, and families of West Moreton Health.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated contemporary knowledge, experience and skills in paediatric physiotherapy and the provision of physiotherapy within the clinical area of developmental delay & disability to facilitate diagnostic understanding and care planning to empower families to understand their child and promote their child's development in the context of daily life.
- Demonstrated ability to apply clinical assessment and intervention approaches within a family centred practice framework, within a paediatric population.
- Knowledge of and a demonstrated commitment to quality processes and evidence based practices, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to these improvements, with an ability to apply established and evidence-based principles to routine Paediatric Physiotherapy clinical services.
- Ability to provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced and student health practitioners (with the
guidance of senior clinical staff) and contribute to the professional development of self and others through
education, professional networking, and the application of evidenced based practice.
