About you:
You are an administration professional with demonstrated skills and knowledge in the use of computerised information systems, word processing application, data entry, and the ability to acquire knowledge in the digital hospital programs and the ability to support and utilise reporting tools. You have experience and knowledge of general office and administrative skills, preferably within a Health Care environment, including the ability to coordinate bookings (clinical appointments, waiting list management, scheduling, and meeting outcome targets) and to ensure the delivery is of a high quality of data accuracy. You possess high-level written communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to consult and negotiate with clients and staff at all levels of the organisation including applying culturally sensitive and appropriate communication skills with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and can work autonomously and act as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality services to clients.
Your opportunity:
Provide, develop, and maintain a high level of administration support to the Paediatric Outreach services for Cairns and rural sites, coordinating across all specialities and the respective health facilities in Cairns and Torres and Cape Health services. This administration role is integral in the organisation and management of appropriate information systems which includes data entry and management, client referrals and appointments, clinics, and general administrative duties.
