We are seeking a speciality doctor in ENT with an interest in Head and Neck Surgery. If you have training and skills in diagnostic Head & Neck Surgery as well as general skills in ENT Surgery, we would love to hear from you.
Here at UHS we treat adults and children with a variety of conditions, covering central southern England and the Wessex region. As a regional centre, our service has sub-specialities including one-stop clinics for head and neck lumps, specialist rhinology (nose) and otology (ear) services and a leading cochlear implantation programme.
The post involves the care of both adult ENT and paediatric ENT patients and you will be involved in the management of benign/malignant ENT/Head & Neck disease including 2WW, Head & Neck Joint Clinics and MDTs.
There will be non-resident on call work based at Southampton General Hospital, covering the local sub-network.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
A doctor appointed to this grade:
• Shall have full registration and Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council; and
• Shall have completed at least four years’ full-time post graduate training (or its equivalent gained on a part-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme in a relevant specialty or as a fixed term specialty trainee in a relevant specialty; or
• Shall have equivalent experience and competencies.

Getting to Work
Application can be made for parking on site at UHS or through one of the park and ride schemes. This will be based on specific criteria to determine eligibility for site parking as this can be very limited. UHS encourages staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible. UHS is well connected through bus services to the city centre and other areas.
