About you:
You have demonstrated ability in the planning, development, delivery, evaluation, and reporting outcomes of non-clinical training and professional development activities, high-level ability in written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem solving and conflict resolution skills. You have experience and ability in contributing to the formulation, implementation, evaluation and reporting of adult learning programs within a multi-disciplinary environment and you are competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite to collate, sort and report on data including the use of Pivot tables and chart.
Your opportunity:
As an Occupational Violence Prevention and Safety Trainer within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service (CHHHS) Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) Unit, you will support the organisation to achieve operational, cultural, and strategic objectives through the implementation of effective solutions, processes, policies, and programs that foster a safe, healthy, and inclusive high performing workforce.
Reporting to the Workplace Health and Safety Training Team Leader, your role is primarily responsible for the professional delivery of the Queensland Health approved occupational violence prevention training program(s) and other safety related training for clinical and non-clinical employees across all CHHHS facilities. Additionally, your role is also responsible for participating in data collation, monitoring, and reporting functions to support continuous due diligence activities and to assist the HSW Unit in the ongoing development and maintenance of the CHHHS safety management system.
