Remuneration package of up to $132,730 p.a., comprising base salary range of $76,747 - $116,332 p.a. (HP3), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

Clinical Nurses
Remuneration package of up to $128,435 p.a., comprising base salary range of $104,816 - $112,236 p.a. (Nurse Grade 6, Band 1), recreational leave loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

*Please note, this permanent full-time position is located in Ayr*

 Eligible health workers who make the move (interstate or international) to work with us may receive up to $70,000 in incentive payments under the Queensland Health Workforce Attraction Incentive Scheme (conditions apply). About the role
The Rural and Remote Mental Health Program provides mental health and alcohol and drugs services to rural and remote communities within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service area.

These services are coordinated through four community mental health teams located in Palm Island, Ingham, Burdekin and Charters Towers. This employment opportunity is located in the Burdekin Mental Health Service based at the Ayr Hospital.

The community mental health teams provide clinical assessment and evidence-based interventions within a multidisciplinary environment.

The mental health clinician will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team and other service providers to provide specialist mental health and alcohol and drugs interventions for community members (and their families) across the lifespan who experience complex and severe problems relating to their mental health and/or alcohol, or other drug use disorders.

Role requirements
Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration or membership with the appropriate registration authority or association. Certified copies of the required information must be provided to the appropriate supervisor/ manager, prior to the commencement of clinical duties.
