The Hospital A Private Hospital comprising a comprehensive capacity of 367 beds, catering to both public and private patients. The hospital stands out as one of the most bustling healthcare institutions, experiencing a consistent surge in demand for public services year after year.
Emergency Department Overview:
The Emergency Department is equipped with 48 beds and initiated operations in November 2015.
Witnessing an annual influx of 77,000 patient presentations, with an admission rate averaging around 30%.
The department is led by FACEM professionals, emphasizing team-based patient care.
A diverse range of cases ensures a comprehensive clinical exposure, encompassing Pediatrics (approximately 17% of presentations), Obstetrics & Gynecology, and Stroke Services.
Essential Requirements
Must hold or be eligible for Registration with the Australian Medical Board.
Graduate of an Australian Medical Council (AMC) accredited Medical school or equivalent
A minimum of three years clinical experience
Demonstrated clinical and procedural experience in an equivalent ED setting.
Previous experience in acute care medicine – eg. Emergency, Intensive Care, Anaesthetics.
