New Graduate Nurse and Staff Nurse Opportunities

Mental Health and Learning Disability Service

Royal Cornhill Hospital, Aberdeen.

Full time post – 37.5 hours per week

Rotational Day/Night 12-hour shifts

A selection of varied and exciting opportunities are available for enthusiastic and highly motivated Band 5 Staff Nurse’s to join and complement our existing nursing teams within Mental Health and Learning Disability Services.

We are currently looking to recruit registered or new graduate nurses who have a genuine interest working in our Mental Health and Learning Disability service. New graduate mental health and Learning Disability nurses are encouraged to apply and will be given the support/ training needed during your first year as a registered nurse in order to complete the flying start programme to enable development of the skills necessary to progress in your career. Our organisation has a commitment to lifelong learning, promoting evidenced based practice and a recognised clinical career pathway.

RMN & RLDN qualifications are essential. RGN with relevant/previous experience working within MH&LD will be considered.

Adult Mental Health

Brain Injury unit

CAMHs

Eating disorders: Eden Unit regional unit for North East Scotland

Forensic Services

Intensive Psychiatric Care Unit

Learning Disabilities

Older Adult Mental Health, specialist services: dementia and functional assessment

Rehabilitation
