We are currently developing Community Treatment and Care Service (CTAC) across Argyll & Bute HSCP. This includes the development of CTAC hubs and working within GP premises, providing long term condition monitoring, wound management and phlebotomy.
We are delighted to be able to offer the opportunity to work within the Cowal Locality for a Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse to work within the CTAC Service.
Within this role you will provide care and treatment including wound management, long term condition monitoring and a range of evolving nursing tasks, ensuring clinical care and quality standards are met. You will provide safe, effective, person centred practice to meet the needs of people the practice population.
In addition the post holder will have joint overall responsibility for overseeing INR monitoring and dosing across Argyll and Bute and will be the lead for this service alongside Band 6 colleagues.
In applying for this role you will be a nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. You will have skills and experience to work within a community setting, to deliver high quality standards of care and be able to work as part of a multi-professional team. You must have flexibility, excellent communication skills, be adaptable to change and evidence continuing personal development
