An exciting opportunity exists for the Registered Nurse to act as a leader in the coordination and delivery of nursing care with a wider role in contributing to education, research, quality, and safety in order to achieve the best patient outcomes at the Paediatric Critical Care Unit.
The Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU) at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) is a 4-bed unit that provides dedicated specialist expertise and resources for the care and support of children and their families, using the skills of medical, nursing, and allied health staff qualified and experienced in the management of critically ill children. The SCUH Paediatric CCU provides a level 4 service and will increase its capability to provide a level 5 service in the future. The unit provides a Level 4 Intensive Care service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Key Responsibilities include:
Salary between $80,342 - $103,053 p.a. (f/t), or salary rates: $40.51 - $51.97 p.h. (p/t), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) (Nurse Grade 5) (full time and part time positions available). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
