We are looking to recruit a Band 6 Senior Occupational Therapist to our experienced and friendly Community Occupational Therapy Team within Inverness district.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within an established team of Occupational Therapists within our Integrated team focusing on rehabilitation, enablement, home first and major adaptions. Work is primarily with client who have physical disability but experience in other areas is beneficial as we provide a holistic approach to treatment and goal setting.
Skills in prioritisation, flexibility and delegation are essential and there is an expectation to provide clinical support to junior staff.
You will be expected to act independently to provide a full comprehensive service of assessment, diagnosis, treatment/appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a range of patients referred to the service.
You will work within Multidisciplinary Teams; supervise Occupational Therapy Assistant Practitioners, and Occupational Therapy students. Regular supervision is provided (including peer supervision opportunities) and opportunities for on-going professional development are encouraged.
A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is required as is current HCPC registration.
You will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations and patient residences, so a full current driving license is essential.
A variation of hours or Job share would be considered and should be discussed at interview.
