The East Sutherland Integrated Health and Social Care Service are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the team, working across two community hospitals and the community. The base for this post is negotiable and will be discussed at interview.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a high standard of clinical expertise in the assessment and management of both older and younger adults with complex needs. The post-holder will work as part of the wider multi-disciplinary team, in both the in-patient and community settings, dealing with a range of medical, neurological and orthopaedic conditions. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
The post-holder will assist their Physiotherapy colleagues with the day-to-day running of the Physiotherapy Department, including the professional development of junior staff, support workers and students. Evidence of ongoing professional development is expected and knowledge of NHS Policies and procedures is essential. The successful applicant will be required to hold a degree/honours degree in physiotherapy or equivalent.
This is a permanent post of up to 37.5 hours (full-time), to be worked in accordance with service requirements.
A driving licence is essential and a pool car will be available, however applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.
