An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced GP to join a team of Clinical Directors across North Highland. The sessional requirement for the post will be 5 sessions (20 hours) per week. The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for a dedicated portfolio of work. This will include leading the clinical governance portfolio supporting the community and primary care division. This post would suit an aspiring GP seeking to develop a portfolio career and to influence the development of community services across North Highland.

The post holder will have an understanding and interest in the development of local services, and particularly in developing relationships with GPs. The individual will work in close collaboration with the senior leadership team, on a number of exciting service developments around out of hospital care in particular integration of clinical pathways; integrated Health & Social Care teams, community hospitals; development of Primary Care networks; resilience and specialist pathways in the community. There is also an important professional leadership role integral to designing and strengthening clinical governance systems and high quality medical practice.

A full, current driving licence is essential as the roles cover a large geographical area.
