The Facility:
As part of the statewide health service you will be located in this modern 160 bed facility providing high quality health care to the local region. The hospital also offers services in medical, surgical and allied health specialties through inpatient and outpatient departments. The hospital has a strong relationship with the University of Tasmania's Rural Clinical School, and the secondary care facilities are both associated teaching hospitals with contemporary teaching environments.

The Role:

Our client is seeking an experienced Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to work for the Department across the Region. 

There are approximately 1000 births annually and staffing includes experienced midwives. The unit is supported by a Level 4 Neonatal Unit and an 8 bed Level 4 Intensive Care Unit.

Fellows of the Australian College for Rural and Remote Medicine and Fellows of the Australian College of General Practitioners with the relevant skills and qualifications are encouraged to apply.
This is a permanent, full-time opportunity where you will be providing specialist care to public and private patients.

The Requirements:
To be suitable for this role you will need to hold the FRANZCOG have Specialist registration with AHPRA.
