About the Role

Permanent full-time / commencing ASAP

  • Provide specialist clinical assessment and intervention to infants, children, young people and their families / carers in accordance with professional standards.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, review and maintenance of internal systems, processes and work practices, and the state-wide model of service delivery for Evolve.
  • Be a resource for other health services within THHS and agencies on the critical issues pertaining to mental health, especially in assessment, diagnosis, the Mental Health Act 2016, intervention strategies and service co-ordination, by modelling this range of skills to others.

Applications are being sought from candidates with either Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or Social Work qualification.

Generous remuneration package value up to $152,775 (HP4) p.a. comprising or value up to $159,899 (Nurse Grade 7) p.a. comprising:

  • Salary range of $4769.60 to $5132.40 p.a. (HP4)
  • Salary range of $4933.10 to $5355.90 p.a. (Nurse Grade 7)
  • Annual leave with 17.5% loading
  • 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements

  • Proof of qualification (Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Speech Pathologists or Social Work) and registration or membership (if applicable) with the appropriate registration authority or association..
  • Blue Card Checks: Potential applicants are advised that the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian Act 2000 requires Queensland Health to seek a ‘working with children check' from the Commission for Children and Young People and Child Guardian prior to appointment to this position. 5.1.
  • This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
