The Facility This is a 300-bed Tertiary Facility that provides acute care facilities and treats over 24,000 inpatients and over 225,000 outpatients annually. The Emergency Department provides a 24 hour, 7 day a week emergency medical care service. It is the only major emergency department in the North of the State. Specialist emergency physicians are always on duty on weekdays, most weekends and most evenings. An emergency physician is on-call 24 hours a day for major trauma and critically ill medical cases. The department is recognized for advanced training of emergency physicians.
The Requirements One of the following or more should apply to you:
Hold or eligible for registration with AHPRA
Possess at least 12 months recent experience recent experience as an ICU registrar in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada or New Zealand.
On CICM training program or intending to join
IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
IMG's with CICM interview date
IMG's assessed by CICM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
