The Position Our client is looking for an Intensivist to join their high performing ICU team! The position will play an important role in the leadership, medical management, clinical governance and provision of Specialist Intensivist Services.
The Location Our client is located in one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal locations with idyllic tropical islands on your door step and a relaxed way of life. This is a large regional city with a local population of over 60,000 and a regional population of over 120,000. The local area has a developed infrastructure including great private schools, shopping, restaurants and the beautiful natural tropical surrounds.
The Facility This accredited teaching hospital has recently enjoyed a major $408 Million overhaul and expansion doubling the number of beds to over 300 and increasing the size by 40,000m2 including a new Emergency Department. This is now a state of the art fully modern hospital and one of Australia’s largest regional healthcare facilities.
The Requirements One of the following or more should apply to you:
Hold or eligible for registration with AHPRA
Possess at least 12 months recent experience recent experience as an Intensivist in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada or New Zealand.

IMG's with CICM interview date
IMG's assessed by CICM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
