The Ord Valley Aboriginal Health Service has been providing critical health and support services to local Aboriginal people since 1984. Our ambition is to deliver socially, culturally, and financially accessible health care that supports communities in the North-East Kimberley to be strong, healthy, and safe.The organisation operates on the foundational pillars of Aboriginal leadership, self-determination and cultural diversity that underpin and shape the way the organisation conducts its business.This position is responsible for increasing testing of Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) and Blood Borne Viruses (BBV) for OVAHS clients in response to a Syphilis outbreak and endemic levels of other STIs.The role supports the existing comprehensive primary health care approach and improved processes to address STI screening, management, and education; whilst ensuring the focus of care is on the needs of Aboriginal clients within the context of their cultural identity and social circumstances.Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Above award-wages: Level 3.3 – 4.1 ($101,544.66 - $111,896.93)
• Rental allowance or subsidised housing (based on availability)
• Annual airfare allowance on 12-months of continued service ($1,800 pro rata)
• Five (5) weeks of accrued annual leave per annum
• Annual two-week paid closure period over Xmas inclusive of public holidays + 8 days of additional paid leave
• Salary sacrifice - greatly increasing take home pay.
