Speech Pathologist - Launceston

We are hiring a Speech Pathologist for our Launceston clinic providing lifespan services, and we can offerflexibility, with full time or part time hours available.

Your role:

  • Conduct routine based general developmental assessments and standardised clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of needs
  • Develop and implement tailored therapy programs
  • Guide your clients in all areas of communication including reading, writing, speech, language, signs, symbols and gestures, eating and swallowing.
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy interventions
  • Work closely with key stakeholders providing information, education and support
  • Ongoing evaluation, training and review to ensure the delivery of quality services to clients
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes

What we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and SPA registration
  • Exceptional communication skills that enable you to work in a culturally rich and diverse environment and collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Experience in working with children and adolescents, and confidence in your role working closely with their families is highly valued
