About the role

An opportunity has arisen in our Cairns office for a seniorlawyer with a minimum of 5+ years of post-admission experience tojoin our Native Title and Local Government team.

This position will predominantly see you advising and workingwith Local Governments throughout Queensland in relation to NativeTitle and Cultural Heritage, Property Law, Regulatory, Governanceand State Land Tenure matters. You will also be involved inproviding advice to our Local Government, private organisation andAboriginal corporation clients on compliance with variouslegislation and Agreements. You will work closely withand have direct supervision and mentoring from a partner who iswell regarded in their field.

You will have strong written and verbal communication skills,sound commercial judgement and a commitment to excellent clientservice.
