Job Summary: The goal of the Speech and Language Program is to resolve and/or measurably reduce the effects of individual communication disorders. The Speech/Language Pathologist will work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive early management intervention. Responsibilities include specialized treatment where required, and provision of consultation and educational services to professions, agencies, and the general public. This position reports to the Director of Programs, Child Development Centre.
Some of the key duties and responsibilities include identification and assessment, treatment and intervention, consultation, case reporting and record keeping, community education and related activities, and departmental and professional responsibilities of an interdisciplinary team.
