About the role:

The Chief Operating Officer leads and manages the day-to-day operations of CQHHS, across a broad spectrum of health service delivery settings and functions, to ensure the delivery of high quality, safe and efficient health services for the community in line with the strategic directions of QLD Health and the CQHHS Strategic Plan.

As a Senior Executive within CQHHS, the role provides significant input into the development and oversight of strategic and operational plans, policy and development, business and clinical services strategies and relationship management.

About you:

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Proven superior strategic leadership and business capability at an executive level in a large and complex organisation.
  • Strong proven track record in developing, implementing and evaluating practical and innovative business models and solutions, across and within areas of responsibility that demonstrably enhance performance and are value for money, and that improve patient and consumer outcomes.
  • Demonstrated executive level experience in fostering cohesive services and multidisciplinary teams that value performance, improvement, collaboration and innovation.

What we offer:

Salary information:

Total remuneration value of up to $281,240 p.a. is comprised of:

  • A salary between $209,383 - $218,055 p.a.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
  • 17.5% leave loading
