About you:

In your new role you will…

  • Be multi-skilled and accountable for the quality of services provided in cleaning, wardsperson, catering and laundry services as required.
  • Demonstrate an ability and willingness to participate in on-the-job training and apply that training to the Workplace in accordance with established procedures.
  • Demonstrate an ability to participate in shift work including rotation through all shifts and/or continuous shift work roster where required.

About your opportunity:

In this position you will provide effective and efficient Operational Services while at all times adhering to the organisational standards, policies and procedures.

About your role:

  • Practice high levels of communication and interpersonal skills to create and foster team spirit within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Participate in educational and in-service programs to build and update knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively within a team environment where quality care is the main aim of the service also to organise work and meet deadlines to assist other team members in the support and delivery of patient/client care.
  • Participate in a range of operational duties as part of direct duties, providing assistance towards other staff within Support Services. This includes food preparation, stock control, serving up and plating meals, trolley delivery to wards, serving meals and beverages to patients, dishwashing.
