The role  
In this pivotal role within the Office of the Chief Nursing Officer (OCNO), you will be instrumental in upholding service quality standards and health and safety policies, aligning with Queensland Health's core values. Responsible for procurement processes, you will navigate S4/HANA and corporate credit card protocols, ensuring the seamless purchasing, receipting, and payment of goods and supplies.

Furthermore, your expertise will extend to payroll management using Queensland Health's HR system, MyHR, as well as coordinating recruitment activities, from crafting role descriptions to facilitating interview processes. Serving as the Branch's travel coordinator, you will manage travel requests through Queensland Health's Corporate Travel Management Booking system and oversee asset management, including the annual stocktake.

In addition to your administrative duties, you will provide indispensable executive support to the Senior Director of OCNO, manage correspondence, and maintain up-to-date documentation of administrative processes. Your commitment to ethical practices, workplace health and safety, and equal employment opportunity will underscore your approach, while adherence to the Clinical Excellence Division's Project Management Framework will ensure efficient project execution.

The successful person
To excel in this role, you should possess a solid understanding of modern office protocols and possess a high level of administrative proficiency, particularly with software like Ms Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint. Moreover, you should demonstrate familiarity with financial protocols, especially in areas like accounts payable and asset management, and be adept in utilizing programs like S4/HANA or display a capability to swiftly acquire proficiency.

Furthermore, you should exhibit a strong grasp of Human Resource procedures, particularly in recruitment and leave management, and be skilled in navigating the MyHR system or display an aptitude for swiftly acquiring this competency. Additionally, you should have a thorough understanding of travel policies and procedures, coupled with proficiency in utilizing the Corporate Travel Management booking system or the ability to quickly gain proficiency in this area.
