About the role

  • The Central Clinical Cluster, Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs Service (CCC MHAODS) is one of three geographically based Hospital and Health Service (HHS) clusters across Queensland, hosted by Metro North Mental Health. The physical geography for the CCC MHAODS spans north of the Brisbane River to Rockhampton and inland to Longreach and includes the mental health services of Metro North, Sunshine Coast, Wide Bay, Central Queensland, Central West and Children's Health Queensland.
  • The purpose of this role is to link and engage the membership of CCC MHAODS on strategic state or service-wide initiatives as well as provide leadership to the CCC MHAODS team. Additionally, the role provides advice to Mental Health Services within the CCC MHAODS on national health care reform and also supports the implementation of clinical reform initiatives led by the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Branch.
