This care is tailored for an outpatient, primary care setting serving a diverse community with varying cultural and linguistic backgrounds.We are growing and we need you to join the team!We are looking for Pediatricians at the following locations: Temple, Killeen, Bastrop, Round Rock, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Austin, HuttoWhat is in it for you?Selection of Medical, dental & vision plansFSA, EAP, Training & development, Vendor DiscountsEmployee engagement, fun activities and family outingsGenerous PTO for an optimum work life balanceHoliday, personal, sick, bereavement & Civic duty leaveLife Insurance, LT/ST Disability , Voluntary Life and AD&DAmazing Culture, Training and Development for your successVarious locations to choose fromDaily Job Duties:Provides examines, diagnoses and treats patients of all ages twenty-one (21) years of age and youngerAct as a consultant on pediatric cases referred by other staff providersCompletes medical charts after each visit in the electronic medical records system, following compnay charting policy timelinesParticipates in providing continuity of care in outpatient managementAll other duties or responsibilities as assigned by Medical Director or executive leadershipCoaching/Training:Provides in-service training for staff in selected topics in Pediatrics as deemed necessary by the Medical DirectorAssure a high-quality educational experience for medical students, residents and other individuals in a training roleOperations:Assists and participates in internal quality control audits.Actively engaged in achieving their productivity and quality metricsFulfills established guidelines set in place for provider encounter levels.Maintain Compliance:Practices in accordance with the company Delegation Protocol/Collaborative Practice Agreement; establish medical diagnoses for patients that are within the scope of practice, and order or prescribe legend drugs and medical devices as authorized by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners (BNE) under Rules 221 and 222, and the Texas Medical Board (TMB) under Rules 193.2 and 193.6Type in specific job duties under this areaAttends internal and external meetings, workshops and conferences, and participates on task forces or committees, when necessary and as required.Achieve and maintain LSCC Core Clinical CompetenciesPerform all duties and services in full compliance with LSCC's Quality StandardsFulfill established guidelines set in place for provider encounter levelsAchieve and maintain companies Core Clinical CompetenciesAPRNs will maintain all credentialing and licensing per company policyPerform monthly peer auditsHave monthly meetings with their collaborating supervising physicianAchieve defined quality metricsMaintains competencies, LMS trainings, BLS (AHA) as currentMust Haves:Current Registered Nurse and Advance Practice Registered Nurse licensure in the State of TexasDEA as required by Service lineNurse Practitioner Board CertificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)DEA as required by Service lineMaintain continuing education as required by licensing and any applicable accrediting boards, maintenance of certification if applicable, and completes additional educational units as required by LSCC (e.g., risk management courses).Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experiencePREFERRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, AND LICENSEThree (3) years' experience as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in healthcare clinical settingPrevious work using electronic medical records (EMR)Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Bilingual English/Spanish language skillsEliteHire is a reputable Direct Hire Agency that specializes in recruiting and placing candidates for permanent positions on behalf of our clients.
