Allied Health works closely with medical, nursing, technical and operational colleagues and community partners to optimise patient recovery and well-being. The allied health workforce is supported to achieve clinical excellence through a commitment to improving quality, creating continuous improvement opportunities and a culture of learning and development.
Regional Australian healthcare shares similar challenges and demands with national and international hospitals, including population growth, poor lifestyle factors, increasing chronic disease, declining health literacy, socioeconomic disparity and a static healthcare system falling short of modern world requirements.

This model focuses on optimising ‘Care in the Hospital' to improve the patient journey and transition of care; and expanding ‘Care where You Live' to meet the increasing healthcare needs and expectations of the community.
The aim of this project role is to establish and implement the Integrated Allied Health Model of Care that achieves ‘Great Care, Great Experience' for our patients by delivering the right care, at the right place, at the right time.
To be successful in this role you must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in a Health Practitioner Discipline and be eligible for registration/membership with the relevant Allied Health registration board and/or professional body.
