About the role

 It is the purpose of this role to provide expertise and technical support in relation to data modelling and analysis, with a specific focus on operational data elements, including corporate and clinical.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate the following:

  • Proven high level technical experience in quantitative and qualitative methods of preparing complex and detailed statistical analysis including the ability to use contemporary business intelligence and statistical software tools.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to analyse evidence, interpret data from a diverse range of systems, identify opportunities and risks, prepare and present information, reports, submissions and documentation of a complex nature.
  • Demonstrated experience or the ability to quickly acquire skills in the use of Queensland Health and other data systems, together with experience in the research, review, interpretation and analysis of information.
  • Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines and commitments, with an ability to set realistic goals, problem-solve, and establish work priorities.
  • High-level written and oral communication skills together with interpersonal skills, including managing conflicting agendas objectives, the ability to liaise, consult and negotiate with senior staff to resolve issues and competing demands.
  • Ability to successfully coordinate workloads, either individually or as part of a team, to prioritise work outcomes in a changing environment.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and work as a team to deliver successful outcomes.
